Have you ever heard of a shadoof?

A shadoof is an irrigation device that was used in many ancient civilizations, including Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt. This device was used to bring water from rivers to dry land.

Dune-ing it Right!

Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders visited the Long Beach Township Marine Education Field Station in Holgate. We learned about the deep system of roots that dune grasses have and how essential they are to the protection of the island.

Thank you, Tim, for teaching us the best way to plant new dune grass!

Have Fun and Study Hard!

Kahoot helps us get extra practice on our English lessons!

Pictionary gives us great practice on our Social Studies vocabulary.

Study with a buddy!

The fourth graders are practicing their map skills by creating a map of an imaginary country.

Wow! 3D printing!
We are all very excited to make a 3D design that reflects our Social Studies unit.
